Description
Designed for use in bad weather, these Dartmoor dog coats are not only waterproof and windproof but, due to the outer layer being a breathable Teflon coated fabric, the coat won’t freeze if it gets wet when used in sub zero temperatures.
Fleece lined for warmth, the coats also have a full underbody piece to keep the dog’s chest fully covered at all times. The combination of the underbody piece and the position of the main strap fastening make it a particularly good coat for dogs who don’t like a traditional tummy strap coat .
Additionally, these coats are fitted with a harness slot in the back of the coat and a fold-up hood for when the weather’s really rough.
The Dartmoor dog coat comes in sage green and fastens with adjustable Velcro on the belt and the front flap closes with press studs, allowing for easy fitting.
Most Jack Russells, Patterdales and Borders will take a 35cm or 14″ coat, whilst a Yorkie might take 10″ or 25cm coat and a Beagle, Cocker Spaniel or Parson’s Russell a 40cm or 16″ coat. Please see our
fitting guide for further advice.
