Our Traditional Witney Wool Coat
Made from traditional Witney wool by the same Mill in Yorkshire, England since 1793 . It is super soft, durable and extremely beautiful. Witney wool is warm, cosy and has super wicking qualities so these coats are great for drying off and warming up your sighthound or fine coated Sporting dog after a cold Winter walk or simply to keep them toastie warm during their walks, in addition to looking super smart .
This shape of coat is especially designed to fit Sighthounds and Sporting Group Hounds. It is fixed at the front, (to restrict any ‘undressing’ of themselves in the undergrowth!) it has a folded over collar which you can lift up their necks on really cold days, it has a raised back and is shaped at the waist where the adjustable belt goes round their middle to keep it in place. This shape fits Greyhounds and larger Lurchers extremely well.
