About Us
At Friday Fox we love traditional English country life and believe strongly that British is best.
From the warmth and softness of English horse blanket to the magic of Yorkshire tweeds we are passionate about our lovely fabrics. Add our traditional manufacturing methods to these fabulous fabrics and we have created a range of horse blankets, dog coats and country clothing that we are really proud of.
Our horse blankets, dog coats, clothes, bags and accessories are all made by hand, from English blanket wool, Yorkshire moleskin (a soft, warm cotton cloth- not real moles) & Scottish stag’s antler gathered by shepherds and gillies.
We also stock a limited range of products made by other small British companies. These products are here because they are made by companies who share our aims and values, namely to keep alive beautiful, functional, traditional British products.
Our customers are the most important people to us, so our aim is to deliver the best service possible. We dispatch 97% of orders from stock within 36 hours, allowing for weekends and holidays. If an item is not in stock then we will call or email to let you know. For piece of mind, if you are not happy with your order, we offer a full “no quibble” refund or exchange policy. We manufacture our products here in England and are very proud of it!
Our horse blankets, dog coats, and bags are all made by hand, from English blanket wool, Yorkshire moleskin (a soft, warm cotton cloth- not real moles) and Scottish stag’s antler gathered by shepherds and gillies.
Our finished products are made in a traditional way. The cloth is laid out, marked up with tailor’s chalk and cut out by hand before each item is sewn together with care and attention to detail.
In addition to all our wool, moleskin and Tweed being UK manufactured, we also do our level best to ensure that component items like cuffing and horn buttons are British made too. We love the fact that our customers support us, in part, because we manufacture here in Britain so its only right that we extend that passion to include our suppliers.
